Backups

Backups are a powerful feature that allow you to create various snapshots in time of your server to allow you to restore from those snapshots in the instance that you need to revert to a previous point in time, for example in the event of a file corruption, etc.

Backup Packages for Minecraft Hosting

Reizor Hosting offers a couple backup packages for our Minecraft Hosting plans. These will increase the limit for the number of backups you can have at any given time.

1. Standard (Included with your server) - 4 backups
2. Backup+ ($2/mo) - 12 Backups
3. Backup Pro ($4/mo) - 24 Backups
4. Backup Extreme ($8/mo) - 48 Backups

These backups are stored offsite in Cloudflare R2, which is fast, durable long-term storage, so you can rest assured that your data is safe, even in the (extremely) unlikely event that we experience a hardware failure and lose the data on a given node.

Offsite Node Backups

We also take 4 snapshots daily of every single one of our nodes’ filesystems, which are also stored offsite, so that we have multiple layers of backups in the event of a disaster. We can, at request, restore a backup for your server from one of our full-node backups for a small fee in the event you have no other backups to restore from.
